A Brief Overview of Story:

This musical tells the love story of Aida and Radames. Radames is the captain of the Egyptian army. The father of Radames is the Chief Minister of his country. Amneris is the princess of Egypt and she is engaged to Radames. She loves him, but it is sort of a one sided love. Radames’ father wants to get rid of the Pharaoh to pave the way for his son to occupy the throne as soon as possible. In the meanwhile, Aida, who is the protagonist of the play, comes in the scene. She was taken captive from Nubia. Many events follow and in the end, Radames and Aida end up in love with each other. This enrages the princess Amneris. Radames is sent to the jail where he meets Aida and both hug each other in the end.



The Princess of Nubia. She is the Daughter of Amonasro. Other than Mereb, nobody knows that she belongs to the royal family.


The son of Zoser. He is the captain of the army of Egypt. He is son of Zoser.


She is the daughter of the Egyptian Pharaoh and it is expected that she will be married to Radames, the captain of the army.

Nehebka is also a Nubian Slave who represents Nubian people to Aida and speaks for them.


Pharaoh is the Pharaoh of Egypt. He is the father of Amneris, the Princess. His Chief Minister tries to poison him to quickly make Radames the king.


Amonasro is the King of Nubia and Aida is his daughter. Egyptians take him into slavery when Radames falls in love with Aida.
